The Artist Gardener
Would you like someone who has a creative eye to come help you with your garden decisions and layout ideas? Or colour choices and design arrangements for sheds, garden rooms, conservatories?
Or need someone to do weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or seasonal maintenance?
Then that’s me; offering a friendly and reliable service in and around Honeybourne, Broadway, Mickleton and Chipping Campden.
It all started when…
I spent hours in my garden and didn’t realise how quickly the time disappeared. I’ve been happily gardening for around 15 years for myself, and now I’m helping others because it’s where I like to be.
If you’re local to Honeybourne (postcode: WR11), including; Bretforton, The Littletons, Pebworth, Chipping Campden, Mickleton, Broadway, or anywhere in between then I can help.
I’m happy to be pruning, mowing, weeding (including ivy, brambles etc), turning over garden beds, painting woodwork (i.e fences, sheds, summer houses), or any other light work. I also have extensive homeware design experience so I’m at ease choosing colours, helping with design ideas, and problem solving. If you need help, please get in touch.
My fee is £25 for 1 hour, or £20 for over an hour (i.e 1.5 hours or more). Happy to take cash, online banking payments, direct debits, cheques or I can invoice you.

I am taking the ‘Certificate in Gardening’ training course at Pershore college in September to ensure I have the best garden maintenance and care knowledge possible. I also have had 12 years experience in invoicing and working with clients one-to-one for my illustration business.
The gardening money I earn from you helps support my artistic pursuits, I can pay my bills and take the pressure off my art being the sole breadwinner! And therefore freely explore what I want to creatively.
More info:
INSURANCE:
I have gardeners liability insurance.
TIMEKEEPING:
I will aim to arrive 5 minutes early, to be able to spend the full allocated time working on your garden. If I take rest breaks, these are unpaid and I will add on the time to the end if need be. I will not add on additional time for breaks caused by the employer.
If for any reason I am unable to work due to illness or emergency, I will call to cancel and rearrange a suitable time. I take my work seriously and will book appointments etc around my regular hours.
TAKING AWAY PLANT DEBRIS:
Ideally you will have a garden bin that is collected by the local council, or perhaps a compost heap. If you need me to take away plant debris; I can do this at an additional charge of £25. This is for the time it takes to do the disposal.
I have also been gardening for myself for the past 15 years, sometimes growing patio plants and vegetables, working on my allotment, or in my own grass and bordered garden. I grew up with gardening loving parents, both with a keen interest in growing - my Dad trained as a market gardener, and grew vegetables in the garden and allotment. My Mum has a lot of plant knowledge and knows most of the latin names, she has spent her adult life gardening and visiting gardens of interest. This had a huge impact on me growing up and I have them to thank for my interest in gardening now.
